The next Boreal Bigfoot Expo has been set for June 10 & 11, 2023 at the Carlson Center in Fairbanks, Alaska. The 2023 expo has expanded into a 2-day event and will now feature in-state and out-of-state researchers in the growing field of cryptozoology.
The Boreal Bigfoot Expo is put together by a group of Alaskans from around the state who “always wanted a conference like this to happen”. This year’s speaker line up, so far, includes Larry “Beans” Baxter, Michael Thompson, RobRoy Menzies, and Small Town Monsters. On top of having guest speakers, Small Town Monsters will be premiering two new Alaskan documentaries on cryptids. The expo will also feature museum-like displays, vendors, demonstrations, a live podcast, showings of documentaries, and more. The Expo will even partner up with some local venues around Fairbanks, such as the Noel Wien Library who will have a special curated collection of books, film, and other media on cryptids and high strangeness in Alaska.
